About Jen

Jennifer found yoga at a point in her life when she was consumed with anger and spiraling into depression. Although she had been taking classes for several years, it was after enrolling in an immersive weekend workshop, that she discovered yoga was more than asana. The study of yoga provided empowerment, connection with the human spirit, and an appreciation for the strength and grace within us all.

Jennifer received her RYT-200 from Asheville Community Yoga in Asheville, NC in 2012, and her 500-RYT from Subtle Yoga in Charlotte NC with an emphasis on yoga therapeutics. 

Jen’s Approach

  • Breathe Awareness

    Breath is the connection to our nervous system. Breath is the basis for finding your flow. One mindful breath in and one mindful breath out is a meditation.

  • Connection

    Sensations, thoughts, feelings, emotions - a time to connect to it all. Classes and retreats provide face-to-face connections to a community of support. Our practice reconnects us to play and having fun with challenge.

  • Humor

    Cultivates moments of joy through laughter and love. Being a human is hard. Let’s not take ourselves so seriously

Classes provide insight and inspiration aimed to take this understanding and create peace and purpose off the mat.
